Sewing a Cardigan – the BurdaStyle Cascading Sweater

sewing pattern for cardigan 694x1024 Sewing a Cardigan the BurdaStyle Cascading Sweater

Yay! I finally finished another sewing project.

I’m excited for many reasons.

  1. This is the first time I’ve used an entire portion of fabric.
  2. This sweater cost me zero dollars. The fabric was a donation.
  3. It only took me a few night’s work to complete it.

I used the BurdaStyle cascade jacket pattern - you can download the pattern and print it at home if you want to give it a whirl.

Really great project, perfect for fall cozy sweaters! It’s easy and fast to pull together.

Please forgive the photos below of the wild sunflowers on the verge of attack. Asking my partner to take photos of my finished pieces is still a little awkward – I don’t know how these other bloggers do it!
